Systematic food safety and quality

In the food sector, compliance with quality standards is essential. NovaTaste can rely on the expertise of its highly qualified quality teams when it comes to quality and food safety. 

Certified quality 

We attach great importance to product and process quality. This is underpinned by the food safety certificates that we can show for all our company locations. 

External auditors regularly review our processes on the basis of established international standards. FSSC 22000 stands for Food Safety System Certification and is a food safety standard recognized by GFSI. All our sites are successfully certified according to a GFSI recognized standard such as FSSC 22000, IFS or BRC.

We work systematically in the area of quality management, according to clear rules and use modern computer-supported tools.

We can systematically trace our raw materials and products within a few hours, work with digital batch labeling and archive retention samples

This guarantees complete documentation. Of course, we are prepared for the event of a crisis (callback) and can be reached by phone for our customers around the clock.  

Food safety concept

Our well thought-out, efficient food safety concept forms the basis of GFSI recognized food safety certification.

Essential building blocks are, for example, our comprehensive factory-related HACCP concepts, cleaning and disinfection programs, foreign object management, pest monitoring and allergen management

Compliance with the applicable legal requirements is a matter of course for us. 

Raw material quality

The basis of our high raw material quality is the targeted selection of our suppliers. We prefer to work with certified companies and regularly check their qualifications. 

Long-term partnerships and continuous communiation contribute to the continuous optimization of products and processes. The complex risk-based incoming goods inspection of each delivered raw material batch is an essential element of our comprehensive quality assurance.  

Authenticity of our products

Food fraud is an issue that affects the food industry again and again. We regularly carry out a complex risk-based vulnerability analysis of our raw materials. The "Overall Risk Score" obtained serves as the basis for further measures. Our internal anti-food fraud team, made up of experts from our specialist departments, monitors and analyzes current topics and developments on a monthly or occasion-by-case basis to ensure the authenticity of our products.   The entire food fraud concept is critically questioned and evaluated as part of the external audits – e.g. FSSC 22000.
